BAKUCHIOL the new kid in town

There is a new alternative to retinol that is taking the skincare world by storm and it is called bakuchiol.

Bakuchiol is a plant-derived skincare ingredient, extracted from the Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) plant and turning out to be one of the best products in 2021.

Bakuchiol is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce skin discolourations caused by environmental exposure whilst having a soothing effect on the skin. Bakuchiol also has the effect of reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It has a similar action to retinol and is a great natural alternative. Is bakuchiol better than retinol? Both boost collagen and elastin. Bakuchiol has no harsh side effects and retinol can so I think bakuchiol is a much more gentle alternative.
